Atlas Cloud AI, a leader in high-performance artificial intelligence infrastructure, and NewYork GreenCloud, a sustainable data center provider based in Plattsburgh, NY, announced today a landmark partnership to deploy one of the nation’s most advanced renewable-powered accelerated computing clusters.
Under the agreement, NewYork GreenCloud will host a dedicated cluster of 288 HGX B300 systems, featuring 2,304 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, at its renewable biomass-powered data center in Ione, California. This initial investment of roughly $250 million marks the first project within Atlas Cloud AI’s $6 billion initiative, a two-year plan to build a network of sustainable AI compute hubs across North America.
The four-year agreement outlines full-scale deployment by February 2026, delivering a minimum Tier III Compliant data center featuring 99.9% uptime with 24/7 monitoring and maintenance. Each 2CRSi Godì 1.8E2D-NV8 server integrates NVIDIA Quantum-X800 InfiniBand networking (800 Gbps per GPU), WEKA high-performance storage, and liquid cooling to maximize efficiency and minimize environmental footprint.
